Background: Angela Montenegro (not her real name; this one came to her in a dream when she was 18) is 5'8", rather thin, with dark hair and dark eyes. She works at the Jeffersonian Institute as a forensic artist for the investigation team led by Temperance "Bones" Brennan. Her specialty is facial reconstruction: taking bones and giving them back their identities. She's considered the sole creative type among a group of nerds, though she is kind of a nerd herself. She's extremely skilled at computer programming (sometimes called upon to extract encrypted data from hard drives), and she created the customized computer imaging program Brennan's team uses to reconstruct crime scenes. Her educational background is a mystery, though she picked up a variety of skills from her very eclectic life.

Angela comes to Haurvatat after the second season Bones episode "The Mummy in the Maze".

Personality: Outgoing and vivacious, Angela is an adventurous spirit who loves new experiences. She's a "mother hen" type, empathically tending to the emotions of those around her, but often at the expense of her own feelings. She is the heart of Brennan's team, making sure everyone else remembers that the bones used to be people, with their own lives, their own hopes and dreams and fears. First and foremost, she is an artist, with all the baggage that represents. She can be flighty and sometimes doesn't quite see the outcome of her actions, but when it comes to her job, she is extremely dedicated.
